I popped into the Tower Inn at Slapton today to hear from Thea and Dan about how their business is already being affected by the broken A379.

After navigating Covid and then a kitchen fire, the Tower Inn has adapted and survived and is determined to do so again - but it’s a really worrying time for them and all businesses around the Start Bay area.

Please continue to support your local pubs, shops and cafes - they need your custom more than ever.

The Slapton Line won’t be re-opening any time soon, whatever decisions are made about its future, so please allow time to use back lanes safely. But if you want a fab Sunday roast this beautiful ancient pub is open and ready to welcome you!
