Pride in Place: £20m for Kings Ash, Collaton St Mary, Foxhole and elsewhere
I’m thrilled that £20 million of government funding is coming to Kings Ash, Collaton St Mary, Queen Elizabeth Drive, and other parts of the western edge of Paignton.

Meet the Chair of the Paignton Pride in Place Board!
Stephen Kings joins the Paignton Pride in Place Board as Chair after a career spanning leading Bay Education Trust, serving as headteacher of Churston Ferrers Grammar School, and acting as a trustee of Rowcroft Hospice.
In his most recent role as CEO of Paignton Zoo, Stephen helped steer the organisation through a successful sale earlier this year, which secured the zoo’s long-term future.
Meet the Vice- Chair of the Paignton Pride in Place Board!
Local community champion and organiser Natasha Hippolyte joins the Paignton Pride in Place Board as Vice-Chair, having lived in the area for over 20 years.
Natasha runs the charity SHAAQ Torbay – Sharing Hardships and Answering Questions – and has created meaningful opportunities for assistance, inclusion, and positive change.
Natasha also works alongside Foxhole Community Centre, helping to provide free meals to children in the neighbourhood.
