I'm presenting my coastal erosion petition in parliament today
In parliament later, I’ll be presenting my petition on coastal erosion at Start Bay – but before I do, let me say a massive thank you to the businesses and residents who’ve been busy collecting signatures. Cleaning up Slapton Sands after repeated storms
I had a great time at Slapton Sands this morning helping FSC Slapton Ley Field Centre with their beach clean. Thanks to the recent storm weather, lots of litter has appeared along Slapton Sands and around Slapton Ley Nature Reserve. Armed with a litter picker, I got to work. There was plenty of fishing wire hidden amongst the seaweed, strips of plastic, even a comb! Thanks FSC Slapton Ley Field Centre for organising.

Statement on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill
I supported the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill when it came before the House of Commons, because I believe strongly that terminally ill adults should have the choice, control and dignity that the current blanket ban denies them. The vote was an important and hopeful moment for many people who are suffering now, and who simply do not have the luxury of time while Parliament debates procedural tactics.
