President Trump’s so-called board of peace looks like it will contain more male billionaires than women.

Let that sink in.

I am sure I am not alone in being deeply troubled by the lack of visibility of women on the world stage.

Evidence shows that women’s participation in peace agreements increases the probability of them lasting at least two years by 20%.

Yet in this uncertain world decision-making is being left to a small group of male leaders.

We see this imbalance every day on our TV screens and I believe it starts with education.

If we do not give girls the tools and knowledge to grow up to be part of that conversation, we perpetuate the idea that only male voices matter.
