Did you know two pharmacies have closed in South Devon in the past year alone?

While this is a trend we’re seeing across the UK, permanent closures are particularly prevalent in rural areas, turning some parts of England into “pharmacy deserts” where patients struggle to access care.

At a Westminster Hall debate today, I called for a new funding model to be set up for pharmacies to prevent more closures in the future.
