Anyone who works in education will know how unequal the national funding formula is, but when you look at the below statistics, it really hammers it home.
In Devon, a high needs child will receive £1,245 in funding. In Camden, that same child would get £3,565.
That’s a shocking disparity – and today, I asked the Schools Minister if the Government accepted the unfairness of the current arrangement and what steps they were considering to make funding more equal.
