Watch my question to the Foreign Secretary about atrocities in the West Bank

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!!

I was asking the Foreign Secretary if she would commit to responding to two reports from the UN and the West Bank Protection Consortium.

Those reports laid bare the scale of sexual violence being perpetrated by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

𝐈𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤.

Against this backdrop, how can the UK government continue with its piecemeal approach to sanctions which have delivered nothing so far?

Far bolder action is desperately required.
