The Sustainable Farming Incentive, which paid farmers in England to manage land, protect soil, restore hedgerows, and boost nature recovery, was abruptly scrapped this week with absolutely no warning.

This is another hammer blow for our farmers and could have serious repercussions for our environment.

Today, I stood up, after many of my colleagues had asked about the environmental impact, to ask the Farming Minister what the scrapping of this incentive could mean for supply chains and the steps the Government is taking to make supply chains fairer.
