Wales & West Utilities have worked tirelessly to get homes reconnected after 4,600 properties had their gas supply cut off this weekend.

Engineers are also continuing to work at pace in Salcombe and Kingsbridge.
But their efforts have been hampered by an inability to communicate directly with customers as they don’t have a direct relationship with them.
I raised this issue with the Minister today.
Despite the speaker cutting both of us off, I spoke with the Minister afterwards and look forward to meeting with him soon to discuss how we can overcome this and better prepare for any future challenges.
