While I was pleased to hear the youth offending team budget has been increased this year and that the government will continue to invest in its turnaround programme, the truth is that youth offending is a growing problem.

Many of my colleagues raised similar concerns to me, and I’m committed to working with the government to cut the levels of fear and stress in our communities.
