Today, I called on the Government to reverse its national insurance tax hike for hospices.

Due to start in April, these rises could push many struggling hospices over the edge.

In December, the Government announced new funding for hospices, but refused to say if it would be sufficient to plug the financial hole created by its jobs tax.
