Watch my question about boosting investment in rural areas

This week, the Treasury announced billions of investments in transport infrastructure across the Midlands, the North, and certain parts of the West Country.

I asked the Chief Secretary about this announcement, and he confirmed that while this investment is specifically for city regions, we will hear more on what the Government is doing to boost rural parts of the UK next week at the spending review.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the Government will announce.
