Watch my question about alleviating the disruption caused by Old Oak Common

I was pleased to hear the Transport Minister speak about infrastructure projects in Devon during her statement today – unfortunately, that’s quite a rarity! But I was surprised to hear nothing about mitigations against the disruption caused by the building of Old Oak Common.
As anyone who has got the train to London recently will know, this construction is causing massive delays. Back in March, the South West Liberal Democrats secured a major victory after Great Western Rail reversed its plans to introduce routine stops at Old Oak Common for trains heading to London Paddington.
This was a great win, but many are still facing delays thanks to Old Oak Common. Today, I asked the Transport Minister what the Government was considering to mitigate against the effect this construction is having, particularly when it comes to reliability, capacity, and improved 4G connectivity.
