Today, the Education Secretary announced a welcome development: up to 7,000 additional school nursery places are set to be created across England by September.

I’m pleased to see the government’s commitment to and recognition of the importance of early years provision. However, recruitment in this sector remains a significant issue.

I asked the Early Education Minister about the government’s plans to address these recruitment challenges.
