Share your views on changes to Charleton Church of England Academy

Devon County Council has launched a new consultation to formally change Charleton Church of England Academy’s age range from 2-11 to 4-11.

Previously the school offered nursery provision, but this closed in September 2024 due to consistently low demand.

Recently, the Learning Academy Partnership has carefully reviewed whether reinstating the nursery would be possible or not and what benefit this would have for the community.

They’ve decided, given the low demand, that reopening the nursery would not be financially sustainable for the time being.

If you have a view on this, then it’s really important to share it in this consultation.

They’ve only had a limited number of responses so far, so make sure to get yours in before the deadline on 17th April.
