My speech: Why we must take a precautionary principle to protect children from the online world

At a Westminster Hall debate today, I urged the Government to adopt a precautionary principle when it comes to protecting children from the dangers of the online world.

This means acting even when there is a lack of overwhelming scientific data. It might sound risky, but the dangers our children face every day are just too great to wait.

In a recent article, I outlined why I believe a precautionary approach is best.
