Mums, gay marriage and sheep...

It's always fun to be invited to join the panel on BBC Devon's red sofa for Politics South West.

This month we had some meaty discussions and quite an eclectic mix…

Should mums get tax breaks to stay at home with the kids? Should Parliament be able to legislate over gay marriage in the Church of England? And what to do about overgrazing on Dartmoor - has Natural England overstepped the mark telling farmers they’ll have to lose up to 90% of their sheep?

Sadly my deep dive research into the hydrology of peat bogs hit the cutting room floor but I did manage to raise the issue of the gender pay gap.

A fun discussion!
