MP for South Devon
Christmas card competition
This competition is open to all primary schools within the South Devon constituency (aged 4-11). If you are unsure if your school sits within this constituency, please check your postcode via this link: https://members.parliament.uk/FindYourMP
The theme for this year’s competition is Winter Wonderland Wildlife (wintry scenes of animals – such as foxes, deer, owls, and bears – enjoying the season in snowy landscapes). Any drawing must be the pupil’s own, hand-drawn, or painted work. Photocopies, computer images, or AI-generated images will not be accepted.
Entries should not be folded, and the picture should be drawn in bright and vivid colours so it can be electronically scanned and reproduced.
Please write the pupil’s name, age, and school in pencil on the back of the drawing. The entries should be A4 size and drawn in crayons, pencils, paints or felt tips. Each pupil has one entry only.
Please send any entries in an A4 envelope to Follaton House, TQ9 5NE.
The deadline for entries to be received is Friday 14th November, with the school with the winning entrant notified on the following week.
The winner would need to have parent’s permission for their child’s name to appear next to their artwork.
We regret that no entries can be returned.
Judging will be carried out by Caroline Voaden MP and her staff.
The judges' decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this decision.
The copyright of the winning entry remains with the pupil, but by entering the competition, permission is granted to Caroline Voaden for its use.
