Flood warning issued for Torcross

The Environment Agency has issued a Flood Warning for Torcross for the high tides this evening and tomorrow morning.

Much like last week, the morning tide is expected to be slightly worse than this evening.

Representatives from DCC Highways Team and the EA will be at Torcross to monitor the situation this evening and tomorrow morning, respectively.

Some of the shingle, which returned last week, may help to mitigate the wave impacts. Let’s hope so!
