Big update in my campaign to open a banking hub
Thanks BBC Devon for having me on yesterday to chat about the disappearance of banking services from rural areas and the impact on customers.
This is something I have been campaigning on a lot recently – including calling on the Prime Minister to act.

According to the government, the review will gather evidence on the real-world impact of branch closures and assess where further action may be needed to protect access to banking services.
One place where further action is needed is South Devon, which has seen 95% of its branch network close since 2015!

I have also applied for a parliamentary debate on the availability of banking services – I will keep you all updated on how that progresses.
While this news doesn’t mean a banking hub is coming to Totnes right away, it is a very positive sign that the government is finally realising how poor the current access to banking is for many across the country.

A consistent layout can make different options easier to recognize and help users return to previously viewed sections. I also consider whether instructions are accessible before opening a game. From my perspective, effective design depends on clear information, practical navigation, and a balanced presentation rather than excessive promotional elements.
88JL catches my eye through the way different content styles appear as I move around the lobby. I usually take a moment to observe the main layout before selecting an area. Sabong introduces cockfighting-related content, while Casino with Sic Bo creates a recognizable table setting. Moving into Bingo brings another visual pattern centered on numbers. I tend to follow the category names and main images while exploring these sections. After spending more time with the interface, those visual cues gradually become familiar enough to help me find particular areas whenever I return for another browsing session.
