Addressing disparities in teacher pay

Did you know that teachers from academies earn £700 less than those in primary schools?

Such a wide disparity is surely having an impact on teacher retention and recruitment, no?

Today, on the Education Select Committee, I asked the General Secretary of the National Education Union about this.
