Great to meet the volunteers at the Torbay RNLI station today and hear about the incredible work they do saving lives at sea and around the coastline of South Devon.
This lifeboat station answers around 120 calls a year - and has both an inshore and an all weather boat, which can travel up to 250 miles without refuelling.
Staggering to hear about the commitment made by the volunteer crew and other support volunteers, to maintain what is one of the busiest stations in the country.
I look forward to coming back and meeting some of the crew another time.
