Cinema discussion

On Back British Farming Day, it was a privilege to host a discussion on the role of farms and farming at Totnes cinema.

The discussion followed a showing of an extremely moving film about the impact of Foot & Mouth on Dartmoor - there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

And Then Came the Night Jars was filmed locally, and covered some big themes, from lockdowns and mental health to what it was like living on Dartmoor when Foot & Mouth hit. All of which prompted a wide ranging and interesting discussion.

Thanks Totnes cinema for another great evening.
