Well done Bigbury Net Zero for organising today’s brilliant beach assembly to send a message to COP 27 that we need action, not just empty promises.
A beach that has been part of our family story for 25 years, it was a real pleasure to be here today with you all in solidarity.
Standing on the beach, singing together ‘What a Wonderful World’, was deeply moving.
There is no more time to waste. The time for empty promises and rhetoric is done - we must start making the significant changes needed to reduce our carbon footprint and make the switch to renewable energy.
We must also start taking the loss of biodiversity seriously. On land and in our oceans.
