A right restored

Thrilled to see that campaigners have won the right to camp on Dartmoor again.

A permission is not the same as a right, and the High Court has acknowledged this.

Well done to all who campaigned to overturn the Darwall ruling. Now to try and secure the same right in other national parks in England and Wales. We desperately need to increase the connection people have with nature and the outdoors.

How can you love something you don’t know? If we don’t love and feel connected to nature, how can we hope or expect to save it?
